If you’re new here, I’m taking you behind the scenes (like fully, bts) of my business, with my goal of doing $500k this year in about 15 hours a week or less. In December last year, I deconstructed my entire business and decided which offers, strategies, platforms etc I would be focused on for the next season of my business. Each month, I’m giving you a close up of how that’s going, the decisions I’m making, what I’m personally navigating in business etc etc.

Why $500k in 15 hours a week? Because this gal is about to embark on her PhD and I need my business to be really super simple to run. And $500k is a fun number that represents me having everything I want in my life, plus hitting investment goals. It’s my “Sweet Spot” number.

This month’s report is a good one. We are really moving now, after a few months of solidifying the foundations, results are really starting to move again.

I’m doing two things in this report:

Firstly, it’s going to have some good juicy data and strategic insight into my business, and how I’m using this to refine my business plan as I go this year. This month saw a 286% increase of cash received on the previous month, and also created significant recurring revenue through until 2027. I feel very grateful for this, but most importantly I feel so grateful to myself, because this was created through slowing down, taking my time, stripping back, simplifying, and focusing on people and relationships.

Secondly… it’s going to be an insight into MY patterns that are popping up in business. Most of my work with clients is based in this — where your specific patterns are playing out in your business and holding you back. Let me show you what I’m going through, so you can see for yourself!

If you’re new here, I write a piece each month taking you behind the scenes of what’s going on in my business — the strategy, the internal work I’m going through — all of it. I take what’s relevant for the month and I share it in a way that I hope, is full of lessons and permission slips and inspiration for you.

I’m writing this to you from a hotel bed. It’s actually April 10th and I’m late on getting this to you because we’ve had some major things happening in our home life.

And if I’m being totally honest, I have delayed writing this, because I wasn’t sure how much context I wanted to give. I don’t want to be talking about it and I don’t want to entertain lots of conversations about it, but I feel like context is kinda important. So the resistance is majorly here as I write.

This monthly report is going to be less report, more behind the scenes of what I’m going through and where I’m landing with it, lessons included. Because that’s where March was for me.

The Context:

It’s really hard for me to be this level of vulnerable with you all. My brain keeps telling me - they don’t want to read this. They’re here because they want to read about business and coaching and psychology and blah blah blah. But for me, business is personal. I can’t show up and pretend that everything is okay. I feel like the story needs to be out there.

So… here goes.

Nearly 3 weeks ago, Matt shook me awake one morning and said “there’s something wrong with Georgie.” Georgie is our 10 year old Labrador. My greatest fear has been losing her. And in the couple of weeks before, I had known something wasn’t quite right with her. We rushed her into the vets on a public holiday (the vet had to come in from being on call, that’s when you know it’s bad). Very quickly they gave her an ultrasound and told us…

“She’s bleeding internally. Probably from her spleen. She’s lost alot of blood, so we need to try to stabilise her, and IF we can, we will get her into surgery. We don’t know if she will make it through. And if we open her up, and we can see that she has tumours spread through her, we will call you and you may need to decide if you would prefer to let her go.”

I lay on that vet room floor and looked her in the eyes and sobbed. How did we go to sleep last night with a seemingly well dog, and now we’re saying goodbye to her for what might be the last time?” It was so unfair. She’s only 10. We’re supposed to have more time with her. How is it possible that she was swimming at the lake and chasing sticks and playing with her sister just days ago? How?

Kiss your dogs, friends. Kiss them on their beautiful snoots and tell them you love them. Please. And get pet insurance. You never want to be in a position where you have to choose.

The vet had to force us out the door, and we drove home. It was still dark, that’s how early in the morning it was. We sat on the couch, cuddled our Poppy girl, and I just kept saying “the vet is about to call and tell us it was a success. She’s fine. She’s going to be fine.”

And I know I’m not the only one. When you’ve been in business for years, you grow. And when you grow, you often outgrow what you once loved. It starts to feel immature in comparison to what you’ve learned since.

The thing you built, becomes the thing that’s in your way. You don’t have to break it all down like me, but chances are, there’s a renovation of your structures and strategies, and of you, that’s required.

I’m going to walk you through the journey I’ve taken over the last couple of months — specifically — how I dismantled and rebuilt the ecosystem of offers I have now. I’ll show you how I made the decisions, so that if you’re feeling messy too, you can walk yourself through a similar process.

This ecosystem did not arrive fully formed. It’s made up of offers I’ve created at different times, built from intuition and a desire to solve specific problems — and it’s only now, pulling all the threads together, that I can see how they weave. What felt messy for a long time now feels whole. But if I’d waited for that wholeness before I started, I wouldn’t have had the threads to weave.

So don’t wait for the perfect idea before you execute. The feedback, the iteration, the intuition that speaks to you in stages — that’s not a problem. That’s the process.

So — let’s dive in:

Anyone who has coached with me will know the IMPACT Method. It’s my proprietary coaching framework, but honestly, it’s just how I think about everything. In essence it moves through four questions: what’s the goal, why does it matter, what needs to change for that goal to exist, and how do we actually do that.

So that’s how I approached this.

The goal was a clarified ecosystem — one with a clear pathway for people to move through, that could do $500k this year with me working under 15 hours a week and no more than four calls a week. It has to be potentially scalable without requiring me to exert more, so that it can grow. Because you know, I still need the freedom to be semi-nomadic and go to Europe every summer. That was the brief I gave myself.

Why that matters goes beyond the business. The bigger mission — the one I now feel so clear on — is challenging the outdated paradigms that keep founders overworking, chasing money from scarcity, and sacrificing the fulfillment and freedom they’re supposedly building toward.

What needed to change was threefold: I needed clarity on my mission for this next stage, the ecosystem needed to be rebuilt as a simple, logical pathway rather than a collection of things I’d created, and I needed to look honestly at my own patterns. The ones that have historically kept me small are fears around visibility, judgement, and losing my freedom. Those don’t go away just because I’m redesigning my offer suite, and visibility or wealth don’t magically appear if I’m still resisting them. That resistance shows up in overcomplication, procrastination, perfectionism and self sabotage. Which as we know, are just clever patterns we use to stay in the familiar heaven.

That’s it. That’s the framework. Everything that follows came from working through those four questions.

The Brain Dump

The first thing I did was lay everything out. Every offer, every free piece, every funnel, every website. I thought my first reaction would be overwhelm… but actually, it was pride. I went back through the material, the testimonials, the feedback — and I felt genuinely proud of what we’d built. Those offers made a real difference to real people. Acknowledging that before cutting anything was important… because it meant I was building from pride, not shame.

But… the complexity was hard to ignore. There were too many options. Too many entry points, too many pathways, too many things that needed attention to run well. So the first question I asked myself was: what are the signature offers I actually want to be known for? The ones where I can make the most impact?

Everything else would need to earn its place in service of those final destinations.

For me, that was The Collective and The Midas Coach.

Then onto the next stage — creating the ecosystem towards those offers. I assessed everything against one question — does this help the right person find their way to one of those?

Okay so, we’re a whole month into 2026. What where why when how did that happen?!

On Jan 8th I shared with you my business plan for the year.

Long story short, in late 2025 I cut out a huge amount of offers, restructured my marketing, reduced my team and went back to full basics.

I just wanted business to be as simple as it could possibly be.

Like I said to my coach this week — I just want to show up and have conversations with cool people that I am interested in, and I want people to naturally just opt into my offers, and that’s … it.

So, this year is about making life changing money, working exactly how I want to and only doing what I want to. (Some might say entitled, I say, maybe this is how we’re all supposed to do it?)

And my intention is that I’m still going to make over $500k. (I have a sneaky feeling it might be my first 7 figure year, and I’m open to that, IF it’s the result of me doing exactly what I want and how I want to do it. Regardless, my profit margins will be around 90-95% which is pretty wild.)

Something I want to reiterate… Sure, my business COULD be doing more. I could hire someone to help with social media. I could delve into ads. I could sell more offers, do launches etc. These are all possibilities. But if I’ve learned anything about balancing my fulfillment and my ambition, it’s that I have to tattoo on my forehead what is actually important to me, and leave everything else well the fk alone.

For me to AIM to scale much higher, would be me falling prey to ego and competition with myself, and probably with other people. I’m not into that (anymore).

So actually, my biggest challenge at the moment is staying focused, basking in spaciousness and simplicity and remembering that anytime I try to overcomplicate, it’s usually because my ego is starting to convince my heart that together they could take over the world.

And honestly, because most of the world and our associated conditioning is all about work hard, sacrifice, chase more, never actually have what you want until you’re retired — I want to get in your head and convince you to give yourself permission to have exactly what you want, sooner.

This is my goal here, with this Substack and in my life in general. I just want more humans to have a healthy relationship with work, money, themselves and their ambition. That’s what I do as a business coach — to help you build your version of ‘it all.’

So, I’m a whole month into:

• scrapping half of my business offers and going all in on two of them (The Collective and The Mastermind)

Okay, so in this report we’re going to dive into…

• the upper limits I’m facing as I let myself simplify AND make more money at the same time

• the strategic shifts I’ve made and what I’ve been working on

• decentering instagram from my business (how it’s going, what I’m planning on trialling next)

• how it’s going working 15 hours a week (hmmm)

Let’s start with the upper limits:

This month has seen me navigating through a major upper limit. An upper limit is just simply that you’re resisting a new experience, because it’s unfamiliar, perceived to be unsafe, or actually IS potentially unsafe. That resistance often plays out as a behavioural response like procrastination, complication, delaying, sabotage etc.

I’ve been through many upper limits, and I reckon you probably have too.

You can always tell when they pop up — its that discomfort that comes right when things are about to get so much sweeter than they ever have, or maybe you’ve already found yourself in a new reality and it’s thrown you into a state of discombobulation (what a great word; quite happy I could throw that in there!)

So right now, I’m at an upper limit.

• My business is the simplest it’s ever been.

• I’m making great money and month by month, making more and more.

• I’m literally being paid to write (thank you SO much — as a paid sub you are genuinely making my dream come true).

• We just bought our first house, our wealth is growing, and we’ve got amazing travel plans (bucket listers) on the horizon.

• I wake up every day and I get to do anything I want to do.

• And with everything terrible going on around me, it’s really challenging to LET myself LET it be this good.

(I know that this is something alot of us struggle with — how can we let ourselves have a good life when so many people are struggling?)

So — at this upper limit, I have to watch out — if I’m not careful, I will let my brain think it can’t be this good, and it will mess with my results.

Nearly a decade of offers, a podcast, two instagrams — no longer present in my business.

Which means… that now, I’m standing at the start of a brand new year and half of the pathways to make some life changing money.

But what I know for sure, is that the fewer pathways the have, the more money and impact I’ll actually make.

I wanted to write this Substack article firstly as a way to anchor myself into my focus, but more importantly, I wanted to show you just how simple it can be to make really good money, working few hours, without complication, and purely following your values and the work you love to do.

I truly think that most businesses are way overcomplicated, with entrepreneurs burning out because they are spend so much time in decision fatigue, expecting themselves to operate as machines, saying yes to all kinds of work they don’t really want to do but think they have to for the money.

The conditioning — both personal and societal — is insidious.

That has to stop. And more importantly… I’m going to show you how.

You deserve to do work you love, be paid really well for it, and spend most of your time actually living your life. The world is finally waking up to the idea that work is not our entire identity, success looks different for everyone, and value is not defined by the number of hours worked or how hard you worked.

We’re moving into an era where efficiency is valued, fulfillment is encouraged, and money is being redistributed to those who build the skills for a market that needs them.

Whether you already work for yourself or not, chances, are, you probably will be (at least in part) self employed in the next 5-10 years. We are in a really exciting time for potential of wealth redistribution, and I want to help you make the most of it.

Without burning yourself out, sacrificing your values, or doing work you hate.

In this article, I’m going to pull back the curtain and show you my exact business plan for 2026.

I’ll share with you…

• why I’m redefining my entire business (offer suite, marketing & sales, and schedule)

• my definition of success (and failure): exact numbers and intentions (these are audacious for two days a week but feeling very possible)

• the offers that I will be selling

• the offers that I’m not selling

• the marketing strategies I’m using as I move away from Meta platforms being my primary platforms

• how I’m using Instagram & Threads differently (without the constant worry about the algorithm)

• what I refuse to do in my marketing and sales AND what I’ll be leading with

• the beliefs I’m actively programming to help all of this come to life

• the weekly schedule I’m adopting to meet these goals in two days a week or less.

This is the bet I’m making: that deep resonance with fewer people will outperform surface-level visibility with many. That focusing my energy on two excellent offers will convert better than diluting myself across eight.

If I’m wrong, I’ll have beautiful Substack content and a half-empty calendar. If I’m right, I’ll have proven that you can build significant wealth while actually living your life.

Each month this year inside my paid Substack tier (you can join for just $9/month), I’ll write a monthly report detailing how it’s going. I’ll share numbers, reflections on how it’s going and tweaks to the plan. I’ll share how my mindset is and what has been challenging for me — and how I overcome it. What works for me, is not what will necessarily work for you (run very fast away from any business coach who tells you they have the proven plan for you). I’ll share with you my thinking behind each decision, so that you can learn why, but the how of your business will likely be very different to mine. As it should be.

I hope that these reports (as well as everything else I share inside the paid tier) will show you that it IS possible for you to build your business placing your fulfillment first. I want you to see the possibility of making really life changing money doing what you love, and not having to sacrifice yourself for it.

Because I think, we need more examples of entrepreneurs building differently.
